Get ready for a wonderful day by Longtail boat in the unique Phang Nga Bay with it's famous Rock " James Bond Island"
We begin our adventure on the water by taking a scenic ride on a traditional Thai longtail boat. We'll navigate through the lush mangrove jungle, home to a diverse array of wildlife such as lizards, snakes, monkeys and various bird species.
As we pass through an intriguing karst landscape, we will arrive at the renowned James-Bond-Insel, where we will have an excellent view of the most well-known limestone formation in the area. Ko Tapu, also known as the James-Bond-Insel, is a popular tourist destination due to its appearance in the movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" featuring Roger Moore as the British secret agent 007.
After a brief stop, we will proceed to a canoe station where you can relax and take in the natural beauty while a skilled paddle guide escorts you. The guide will take you near ancient rock formations, caves and mangroves.
We will make our way to a Fischerdorf built on stilts in the water. The sea-faring nomads residing here will give you a warm welcome and offer you a delicious Thai meal. Once you're full and satisfied, you can take a leisurely stroll to explore the village, called Koh Panyee, and learn about the culture of its inhabitants. You may even find some nice souvenirs to bring back for yourself, your family, or your friends.
We will return to the mainland to head back to Khao Lak but to conclude a wonderful day of culture we will visit a temple and caves. There is also a chance to spot wild monkeys in the area, but be aware that they are known to steal food from tourists.
