- On Sunday the tour is in the afternoon including a short visit of the sunday Market in Takua Pa (recommended).
Tour Itinerary
Pick up in the morning from your hotel and drive to Takua Pa district. Only on sunday the pick up will be in the afternoon.
Navigate winding jungle canals by canoe, spotting diverse wildlife. Monkeys frolic overhead, while snakes skim the water and birdsong fills the air. Your expert guide steers, letting you focus on capturing the rainforest's vibrant tapestry of life.
Takua Pa Old Town boasts well-preserved Sino-Portuguese architecture and a rich history as a major tin mining center. Explore ornate temples, charming shophouses, and remnants of a bygone era. While tin mining has declined, the town offers a unique blend of history, culture, and delicious local cuisine.
On sunday there is a local market, therefor we organize this tour in the afternoon. Remember to be respectful when visiting temples and ask permission before photographing locals.
Pay respects at the Tsunami Memorial or Museum in Baan Nam Khem. These somber sites commemorate the 2004 disaster and the community's resilience. Be respectful of visiting survivors.
