Our Story
Go Travel Phuket was born from a simple observation: travellers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland heading to Phuket or Khao Lak find countless booking platforms — but almost nobody who truly knows the region, speaks German and is personally reachable.
We changed that. As a small, owner-managed company we live and work directly on the ground in Thailand — not somewhere in an office in Europe, but here, where your holiday takes place. That means real insider knowledge, personal recommendations without commission-driven thinking and a contact who is still reachable after you've landed.
We work exclusively with vetted partners, have personally inspected almost all the hotels we recommend — room by room, pool by pool, beach by beach — and know exactly which excursions suit which travellers.

The Team
Go Travel Phuket is an owner-managed company — founded and run daily by Danijel and Rose, who live and work together on Phuket.
Danijel brings over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry — and has lived in Thailand for more than 20 years. He knows Phuket and Khao Lak like the back of his hand: almost all of the hotels we recommend have been personally inspected by him, many as part of formal hotel assessments for international tour operators such as Thomas Cook and Alltours.
As a father of three sons he knows what families really look for on holiday — and what travel guides tend to leave out. In our Facebook blog he shares his personal experiences directly from practice.
Rose is the operational heart of Go Travel Phuket — as Managing Director she makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. As a local she knows the culture, language and the right contacts in Phuket and Khao Lak that make a real difference.
With her combination of local know-how and international service standards she ensures that every tour, every hotel and every transfer works as our guests expect — and often even better.
Our Difference
We have personally inspected almost every hotel we recommend — room by room, pool by pool, beach by beach. No second-hand information, no PR department stock photos.
We speak fluent German, not just "booking English with Google Translate". You can ask us anything — including details that nobody on a booking platform will answer.
Our office is not in Frankfurt or Amsterdam — we live and work on Phuket. That means up-to-date information, real local contacts and reachability during your holiday time.
Even when you're already on holiday and have a question — we're reachable. Directly, personally, in German. Not through a ticket system with a 3-day response time.
We only recommend what we personally consider good. If a hotel doesn't suit you, we say so — and recommend the better one instead. Your holiday isn't worth a commission if it goes wrong.
We work directly with selected hotels and tour operators — that means better conditions, reliable quality and a real point of contact if something goes wrong.
What We Do

Danijel has personally inspected almost 90% of all hotels in Khao Lak and over 50 in Phuket. Our hotel reviews are not summaries of OTA ratings — they are first-hand assessments.
