If we had to choose just one family-friendly nature excursion from Khao Lak, the Khao Sok Day Tour would be near the top of our list. The combination of canoeing on the Sok River, beautiful rainforest scenery, local culture and close elephant encounters creates a diverse experience that appeals to both adults and children. While the Lake Tour offers more dramatic landscapes, the Day Tour is often the better choice for families with younger children and travelers who prefer a more relaxed pace.
