Khao Sok National Park is home to one of the world’s oldest rainforests and an incredible diversity of wildlife. During this relaxing canoe safari on the Sok River, glide through lush jungle scenery surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, ancient trees and tropical vegetation.

What Animals Can You See in Khao Sok?
Khao Sok National Park is home to one of the oldest rainforests in the world and an incredible variety of wildlife.During the tour you may encounter:

While the Lake Tour offers more dramatic landscapes, the Day Tour is often the better choice for families with younger children and travelers who prefer a more relaxed pace.

How long is the transfer from Khao Lak to Khao Sok?
The drive usually takes around 1 to 1.5 hours each way, depending on your hotel location. However, there are several stops along the route, making the journey part of the experience rather than a long, continuous drive.
Do I have to canoe by myself?
No. The canoe is paddled by an experienced local guide. The Canoes can hold up to 200 KG.
Can young children join the tour?
Yes. This is one of the most family-friendly tours from Khao Lak and is suitable for children of most ages.
Can I Join This Tour from Phuket?
While it is technically possible to join this tour from Phuket, we generally do not recommend it due to the long transfer times. This tour is designed primarily for guests staying in Khao Lak, where pickup times are much more comfortable.

Do I Need Any Vaccinations for Visiting Khao Sok?
No special vaccinations are required for visiting Khao Sok National Park. We recommend bringing mosquito repellent and wearing light clothing that covers your arms and legs during jungle activities, especially during the rainy season.
