Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel and take a drive to see some of the most stunning beaches in Asia while enjoying the coastal views.
Reach Nakkerd Hill, where you will have the opportunity to view the impressive "Big Buddha" statue and take in the breathtaking panorama of Chalong and the southern region of Phuket. As long as we can't visit the Big Buddha we will alternatively visit Rang Hill.
Important Update: Due to recent mudslides in Phuket, the Big Buddha is closed for an unforeseen period for safety reasons. As an alternative, we will visit Rang Hill in Phuket Town, which offers stunning views of the east coast and the Big Buddha.
Next, head to Wat Chalong, Phuket's most respected temple and learn about Buddhism and it's traditions. Afterwards, take a tour of a traditional cashew nut processing facility
Explore Old Phuket Town, including a visit to an historic Chinese temple to gain insight into the island's Chinese heritage. Then, visit Chinpracha Mansion, a Sino-Portuguese style building that is over 118 years old and was the location for films such as "The Heaven and Earth" and "Young Indiana Jones". Continue the tour we visit a pearl factory.
Enjoy a great and delicious local style lunch at Old Phuket farm.
After lunch explore this traditional farm and take in the scenic rice paddies, pineapple plantations and watch a demonstration of how rubber is tapped from trees and made into sheets. Learn about the process of making Thai curry, herbs and spices, as well as a demonstration of a rice milling machine. After a great day of culture we bring you back to the hotel.
